
Dr. Daniel Jay Zeppelin
Aspenwood Dental Associates and Colorado Dental Implant Center are proud to have had 5280 Top Dentist Daniel J. Zeppelin, DDS, as one of our dentists since 2003. Before joining Aspenwood Dental Associates, Dr. Zeppelin provided dental services to residents of long-term care facilities.
Daniel J. Zeppelin, DDS, holds a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in Denver and completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado, University Hospital Sands-House Clinic in 2003. In addition, Dr. Zeppelin has received advanced training in all phases of implant dentistry through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s program at the Medical College of Georgia. Prior to receiving his training in dentistry, Dr. Zeppelin received a Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
While attending the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, Dr. Zeppelin was awarded the American College of Dentists’ Award for Outstanding Performance and Professionalism. Dr. Zeppelin is very proud to have been recognized by his peers as a 5280 Magazine top dentist every year since 2008.
Continuing education in all fields of dentistry and health care is of utmost importance to Dr. Zeppelin. He believes it is his responsibility to his patients to stay up to date with the ever-evolving techniques and trends in dentistry. He has completed thousands of hours of continuing dental education. Rarely does a month go by that Dr. Zeppelin doesn’t attend a course to increase his ability to provide patients with the best dental care available.
Dr. Zeppelin was awarded Fellowship status and later Mastership status by the Academy of General Dentistry. These awards required an examination plus over 1100 hours of continuing education in specific areas of dentistry.
He is a graduate of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry/Medical College of Georgia’s Maxi-Course in implant dentistry. Through training at this program, he was trained in both surgical implant placement and restoration.
Dr. Zeppelin strongly believes in giving back to his community. He has been a volunteer with the Dental Lifeline Network since 2001. Through this program, he provides donated dental services to individuals who are disabled, medically fragile, and elderly.
When not in the office, Dr. Zeppelin enjoys spending time with his wife and two young adult children. He is an avid skier and cyclist.
