What is ClearCorrect?
ClearCorrect is an orthodontic system that uses clear aligners to help straighten your teeth. Whether you're a parent to a child in need of orthodontic care or you've been wanting braces yourself, ClearCorrect is a great alternative to traditional orthodontics because it's completely clear. The system is virtually invisible to the naked eye and is completely removable. ClearCorrect is ideal for teens and adults seeking quick, convenient and easy orthodontic treatment.
Why is ClearCorrect needed?
When your smile is crooked, crowded or unevenly spaced, this doesn't just have an impact on your confidence. You may find it difficult or even impossible to properly care for your teeth, and flossing may be a chore for you. ClearCorrect is designed to help most orthodontic problems. In some cases, it can take just months to have a perfectly straight and beautiful smile.
Who's a candidate for ClearCorrect?
Our dentists will examine your teeth to determine if ClearCorrect is right for you. For patients with severe orthodontic problems, we may suggest additional treatment alongside ClearCorrect. However, the ClearCorrect system is ideal for teens and adults looking for a viable alternative to traditional metal braces. You need to be able to commit to wearing your aligner trays for at least 22 hours each day.
What happens during ClearCorrect treatment?
The first step is to consult with you or your child to help in creating a personalized treatment plan. This consultation will often involve x-rays, impressions and an examination. We then use the impressions to make your very first set of ClearCorrect trays. You'll be instructed on how to remove and insert the trays and how long to wear them. You will then need to come in for subsequent appointments so that we can make new ClearCorrect trays for you. You will go through many aligner trays during the course of your treatment. Treatment can take anywhere from a few months to several years depending on your current smile.
